Children in the U.S. often have limited or distorted knowledge about Africa. Authentic, non-stereotypical books can change what children know, think and feel about the continent and its people. MY CABA BOOK is a literacy initiative that puts award-winning, culturally affirming books about Africa into books the hands of young people.
